Think back to being five years old at school. Do you remember your teacher saying “Look for a space to sit in’ or “Stay in your own space”. Or perhaps now that you're older you’ve heard people saying “I need my own space!” In these situations, we use the word space to describe something that belongs to us, and no one else.
So when the STEER assessment asks you to imagine a space, it’s simply asking you to remember or create a space that belongs just to you. Once you’ve remembered or created that space, you can then imagine how you would respond to the different scenarios.
It really is that simple!
