You’ll see your data vault when you’re around 15 years old. This is a good time for students to look back at how they’ve changed over the years, and look ahead to life in Sixth Form or college.
In a PSHE lesson, you’ll log back on to the STEER platform. Only this time, you’ll see your Take the Wheel Report! The report will help you look back at how you were steering each term, each year. Imagine being 15, and looking back to how your steering has changed from age 11 to age 15! You might notice a big change at certain points, and be able to think back to what was happening at the time. Maybe your best friend left the school? Perhaps you were picked for a team! Maybe you aced an exam or event! Perhaps something might have happened at home that no one knew about? But you will remember, and you’ll see how what was happening in your life at the time affected your steering.
As you look ahead to college or sixth form, you’ll have your whole school story to look back on and learn from. You’ll see that you bounced back from tough times. You’ll notice that you didn't stay stuck - you were always changing and developing and will carry on doing so in the years to come. You’ll understand what happens to us can affect us, but doesn't need to label you. You’ll remember back to the people and things who helped you overcome challenges and setbacks. What an exciting lesson that will be!
