Do I share action plans with students and their families?

Most action plans written in school are reactive; they respond to an existing problem. STEER action plans are proactive, they are written to prevent a problem from developing.

Sharing a STEER action plan with students and their families may risk undue worry.  A STEER action plan aims to guide a teacher's early, subtle,  targeted conversations with a student and their family.
