Should I be given time to write action plans?

We know how time-strapped teachers are; you can't be expected to magic time out of thin air!

That’s why STEER advise that teachers are given time within a designated staff meeting to write their action plans.

• When you first start using STEER, you will be invited to attend an action plan training meeting. During this meeting you'll see the whole action plan process modelled before being scaffolded to write your own.
• Thereafter, we encourage schools to set aside time within a designated meeting  after each assessment round so teachers have ringfenced time to write their STEER action plans.
